Connector type
The connector type can be used to distinguish our products for installation in a device housing from cable parts. The connector type describes the difference between connectors that are mounted on enclosures, connectors that are mounted on cables, and other connection componentsdistributing signal and power.
Number of contacts
This indicates the number of contacts the connector has.
Gender
A connector consists of the male part (pin) and the female part (socket). Depending on the design, the male or female part is either permanently installed or are located at the end of a cable.
Version
The choice of version allows the definition of the cable outgoing.
Locking Type
The locking system describes how the pin and socket elements are joined.
Termination
The termination type determines how cables, single wires or PCBs can be joined with the connector.
Coding
The connector elements, pin and socket, must be brought into form-fitting alignment with one another (coding) before locking. This prevents mismating.
IP-Rating
The degrees of protection according to IEC60529 apply to various articles and provide information on protection against the intrusion of water and solids such as dust.
Material of housing
Depending on the area of application or requirements, connectors are made of different materials. We offer metal and plastic housings for our items as the housing material.
Rated current
The rated current is the electrical current that is assigned to the connector.
Rated voltage
The rated voltage is the electrical voltage assigned to the connector.
Locking material
Depending on the technical requirements or performance data of the connector, the locking mechanism is made of plastic or metal.
Cable length
Our items with molded or pre-assembled cables have different cable lengths. It describes the length of the cable from the end of the connector. If the desired cable length is not included, please contact our sales department.
Cable type
By selecting the cable type, a preselection for the respective application can be carried out.
Cable Jacket Type
The material of the cable jacket. PUR, TPE, TMPU or TPE-U cables each have different technical properties.
Cable color
The color of the cable jacket.
Mounting orientation
The mounting orientation for flange connectors defines the side from which an item can be mounted.
Series
The series indicates the product category of binder circular connectors and serves as a guide for selection.
Contact Plating
The contact surface refers to the plating of the contacts (e.g., gold or silver) and affects conductivity, corrosion resistance, and the service life of the circular connector.

A-coded M12 connector for One Cable solutions - Automation technology

The M12 hybrid connectors from binder series 767 combine power and signal transmission in a single compact system – a true one-cable solution. The M12-A connectors are the ideal choice wherever both power and control signals need to be transmitted reliably. With their 9-pin configuration – consisting of 2 power and 7 signal contacts – they offer maximum flexibility for a wide range of applications.

Hybrid connectors M12 A-coded

Thanks to the robust M12-A screw locking mechanism, available with either a plastic or stainless-steel threaded nut, they are suitable for both standard applications and the most demanding industrial environments. The M12-A coded products are characterised by simple installation, making them ideal for time-saving assembly processes. With IP67, IP68 and IP69 degree of protection, the connectors are well protected against environmental influences and are therefore also suitable for temporary outdoor use. The M12-A hybrid function significantly reduces cabling effort and provides a space-saving solution for modern automation systems.
